bought this game about when it was released. (it was released by accident as the dev said) at first glance i was thinking what on earth is this st? after finishing the game, my thought became even stronger. luckily the dev is so determined to develop this game further, so whenever major update is released many things have changed. so i play this game whenever new update is released and i already beat it 3 times. it’s kind of interesting seeing how the game is being changed over time. even if this game looks like st, it has irresistible attraction. you can try it yourself. and it’s cheap! So I was originally going to downvote this game, but since its only been in EA a year, the developer is active, and its only a one man show, I have to upvote it. Game definitely needs some work, but graphically its definitely doable. Building looks good, but the particular type of construction makes it a bit of a plodding chore. Back and forth, back and forth with your three logs over and over again. This is why most games in this genre go into the abstract instead of the literal. 4 hours of straight resource gathering and construction (cheats enabled, infinite health/stam/hunger) only to build a small base wasn’t a very satisfying experience. I could chop down a literal tree in that time. If the game wants to keep with this construction methodology, then devs should reduce the number of logs required. Kind of silly requring multiple logs+planks for a a square foot of space. AI is really poor, and the hitboxes are bad. But if they can clean up the rough edges and modify some of these systems to make it less grindy and tedious…..the game has potential.
