About Sword Blox Online Rebirth:
I was planning to write an elaborate review on why I like this game so much, but I don’t want to come off as airheaded. As you can see, I don’t recommend this game. I’ll keep playing it because it has personal value to me, both as a fan of SAO, and as a gamer. Simply put, the game is very flawed. Here are a few frustrating tidbits I’ve picked up in my playthrough thus far: expensive. This is the biggest reason why I can’t recommend it. For the amount of problems it has, I can’t recommend it for 50 dollars with a straight face. Translations are iffy and sometimes straight-up wrong (voice actor says something. Enemy balance is way off. Some bosses are level 200 and have a 10-ish minute fight, others are level 90 and have a 30 minute fight and do way too much damage (not all bosses are created equal, I suppose) Most maps/zones are forgettable, I can only remember a few Loading screens everywhere. This is probably the biggest personal disappointment of the bunch. I have a beefy PC, there’s no reason other than console limitations to have loading screens on 2 areas that are 100×100 feet Horrid FPS in some late-game areas, especially in the DLC Soundtrack is good, but it ends up being repetitive, so I usually just turn it off and play with my own music playing Party members often get stuck on terrain, causing things like skill chains and switches to up.
